It is with heavy hearts that we send our condolences, thoughts, and prayers to the entire Seton Hill College community. Less than a week after the St. Mike’s men’s lacrosse team was in a scary looking bus crash, members of the Seton Hill women’s program were in a crash themselves.

While all of the St. Mike’s players and coaches made it out of the crash relatively unscathed, the women’s program at Seton Hill was not so lucky. The driver of the bus was killed at the scene, and the women’s head coach, Kristina Quigley, passed away at the hospital. Quigley was six months pregnant at the time, and her unborn child did not survive. At least 11 passengers on the bus were injured.

Just typing this is hard, and we can only begin to imagine what the Seton Hill women’s team is going through right now. We will update this story as more becomes available, and will have everyone involved in our thoughts…
